1977 — Company Founded

RGBSI (Rapid Global Business Solutions Incorporated) founded by Dr. Singh after receiving a Ford Motor Company grant, focusing on reliability and quality engineering.

1980s–2010s — Global Growth & Industry Leadership

RGBSI expands into a global engineering services firm, delivering reliability, quality, and manufacturing engineering solutions to Fortune 500 OEMs across automotive and industrial sectors.

Global Presence Established

Offices opened in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Germany, and India, supporting major OEMs including Ford, GM, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Paccar, and Caterpillar.

Pre-2020 — DoD Engagement Begins

RGBSI’s engineering expertise begins attracting interest from the U.S. Department of Defense and DoD OEMs.

2020 — RGBSI Aerospace & Defense Launched

RGBSI Aerospace & Defense (RGBSI A&D) established as a separate entity to exclusively support DoD and defense OEM missions.

2020–Present — Supporting Warfighter Readiness

RGBSI A&D delivers sustainment and digital engineering solutions for OSD, DLA, DoD Military Services, U.S. Allies, and Coalition Partners, addressing critical weapon system sustainment challenges.

Shweta D. Kumar, D.Eng.

Shweta D. Kumar, D.Eng.

Dr. Shweta D. Kumar is CEO and Chief Scientist, RGBSI Aerospace and Defense. She earned her Doctorate from George Washington University and holds U.S. automotive engineering patents through Chrysler (FCA). Dr. Kumar is a recognized authority on the significant role Small-to-Medium Manufacturers (SMM) have in rebuilding the U.S. Defense Industrial Base.

Paul L. Hartman, Ph.D.

Dr. Paul L. Hartman is President at RGBSI Aerospace and Defense. He earned his Doctorate from the Air Force Institute of Technology, Graduate School of Engineering and Management. Dr. Hartman has nearly 40 years of operational experience in supporting U.S. National Security objectives.
